Description

The Shifta is available in three lengths – 3.2, 4.4 and 5.4 metres and two widths 300 mm and 450 mm. It stands at a height of 56 centimetres when lowered. Including handles, its maximum width is 62 centimetres.

Key features include; the detachable hopper, a maximum payload of 150 kg, braked wheels, and machine stand for stability, a folding bogey and two mushroom shaped emergency-stop buttons (top and bottom). There are forklift holes to facilitate loading onto a vehicle and the units are easy to stack if required.

The 4.4 metre machine weighs in at 116.5kg and with its light aluminium frame proves very manoeuvrable. The angle that can be reached depends on the loading.

The fastest running speed is 28 metres per minute and the slowest is 20 metres per minute. A 5kva transformer can allow the use of four machines at once. The Shifta also has inbuilt belt-tracking and a scraper.

This very useful and efficient machine can be seen in use on sites all over the country reliably shifting large amounts of material.
